Volunteer
BBF needs you! We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities for adults of all ages. No commitment of time or talent is too small, and the personal benefits of helping the children and youth we serve are always big. We do require a criminal background check and fingerprinting as well as a TB test. Scheduling is flexible. We value our human resources, and we can find the best volunteer fit for you and your schedule.
For more information or to schedule a site visit/initial volunteer meeting, please send an email to volunteers@betterboys.org or call Laura Martindale, Volunteer Coordinator, at 773-542-7300.

The lists above are far from exhaustive. We also invite you to share your own interests and talents. We are always open to new suggestions for educational, cultural, and recreational activities for the children we serve, and we invite interested volunteers to suggest new ideas grounded in personal interests and talents. For example, a volunteer might design a workshop or lecture, launch a hobby group, organize a field trip, initiate a community service project, or teach an arts and crafts class. Tell us how you would like to interact with our kids, and we’ll help you do it.
